lyrics
Wandering I
Wandering eye
This won't fix any problems
That's allright
Cause I ain't here to solve 'em
(As opposed to say, Dr Phil or Columbo who is, at the very least, somewhat there to solve them)
For tonight
We'll swim in your amnesia
(What a metaphor! Sharing is caring)
You're out there in the dark
And I've got all the fire
(I'm one of those people who unconciously pockets lighters, thus litterally ending up with all the fire)
So come towards the light
Cause your ice is so cold
(I realise that saying ice is cold is a rather redundant statement, but "your ice is so dry" didn't have the same ring to it)
There's the smile
Frozen in the lights of a train
Escaping thoughts
(though it was pointed out to me that this line sounds like "escaping farts". So laugh it up)
They want so much to be entertained
Before the flight
You know there ain't no room on this ship
(I'm reffering of course to an airship, like a zeppelin or some sort of luxurious mongolfier)
But for tonight
I'd be more than glad to give you a lift.
You're out there in the dark
And I've got all the fire
(there's no point in having a boiling lava cauldron of dionysian lust within if you don't advertise it)
So come towards the light
Cause your ice is so cold
(i felt the need to reitterate that ice is indeed cold. You never hear of hot ice, because it's called water)
So cold
(like the frozen tundra)
